Nneka designer Penelope N. Adibe was born and raised in London, England.  Due to her multicultural heritage and upbringing, Penelope was exposed to many diverse cultures, which influenced her thinking and personality from a young age.  After studying and working in fashion in London, New York, and the San Francisco Bay Area, Penelope decided to launch her own brand.  She captures her most basic feelings about clothes in her designs: that clothing is one of the earliest and most basic forms of human expression - that line, shape and the cut make a garment and rich fine textured materials combined with a variety of color palettes are the finish.
