When I was a small child, growing up on a farm in Appalachia, I made felt clothes for all my troll dolls. I loved embellishing those little felt loinclothes with embroidery and beads. Later, when my own son was small, I spent many an hour doing various yarn needlecrafts and sewing. There was a long gap between then and now. Several years ago I took a metalsmithing class and my jewelry journey began. I've explored various metalworking techniques, wirework and beading. Over time, you'll see all that represented in my shop. At present, I'm thoroughly smitten with seed beads. The colors, patterns and techniques seem endless. Also - probably - of all the jewelry techniques, it most closely aligns with my needleworking past. I am enjoying this journey and hope that you find enjoyment in it was well.
