82nd and Zeal

82nd and Zeal is an online boutique based in Oakland.  The meaning of 82nd and Zeal is the birth of fashion for a cause--the cause being environmental, humanitarian, inspirational, and social.  Brands and designers affiliated with 82nd and Zeal do their best to consider the environment as well as social and humanitarian issues through the use of eco-friendly fabrics, sustainable materials, and/or by bringing awareness to the many social issues faced by today's society.

Founder Tiffani Neal has worked the retail clothing industry for several years, but was unable to find clothing with a purpose.  With her entrepreneurial spirit, the idea of 82nd and Zeal was born in July 2007 and launched in September 2008 to act as a source of eco-friendly, sustainable, and inspirational clothing.
