About 5ft2in5ft2in™ started with an idea from Sunny Suppa who is the Founder and current President of 5ft2in™. When family, friends, and eventually their family members asked Sunny to hem their pants for work, Sunny thought it was just a trend. But a few years later when it was her time to find interview-appropriate clothes Sunny, then size 2 and 5’2 ˝”, realized how difficult a task it was. Not only was it a time-consuming experience, but it was also a humiliating experience with sometimes even the “petite” pants being too long. It would’ve also resulted in an expensive experience too if she didn’t know how to hem her own pants. That’s when Sunny started to dream of a clothing line for women who are 5’2” and under. After much research and testing, 5ft2in™ was born to a highly anticipated crowd of excited professional petite women.
